I find guiding my clients through the many facets of real estate exhilarating and rewarding. Though compensation is necessary, the joy comes from seeing happy faces and knowing I had a part in it.

I serve all of Contra Costa County and work out of the Walnut Creek, Clayton or Brentwood Windermere offices. I have personally sold properties ranging from a 2.1 M home in Orinda to a $45,000 short sale in Pittsburg. I have worked from Martinez to San Ramon and anywhere in between.

Just recently I retired from a top producing team - where I gained extensive experience from nearly 350 transactions - to be able to give my clients more time and personal attention. With many years of high performance under my belt, along with my personable nature, I am well-connected and respected in our industry.

My most recent "By Referral" business has led me to want to help fellow boomers and their aging parents downsize to a new home or assisted living. With this goal in mind I started to assemble a well-seasoned team to facilitate those - sometimes difficult - transitions.

Other special expertise that I have includes knowledge of short sales, with access to Foreclosure Radar; 1031 exchanges & other investment considerations; and knowledge of new home buyers programs.
Although I bring many credentials, I am especially proud to be a "Green" realtor and am a staging professional, which is a huge benefit to those who list with me.

Business Philosophy

My goal is to serve my clients in a personal way that exceeds their expectations. As a professional advocate and transition counselor I will fight for my clients tooth and nail. I will maintain an attitude of fairness and helpfulness towards my colleagues and absolute integrity in all business transactions.
Now more than ever, I can make a difference in people's lives by helping them avoid foreclosure or guide them through the lending maze.

After recently putting a family member into Assisted Living and having helped numerous clients to downsize into retirement communities, I have decided to assemble a team of dedicated professionals to help boomers and their aging parents through these transitions. I believe that if you really listen to people and help them to realize their dreams, your needs will be met also.


I came from Germany to the US on a student visa in 1973. After graduating cum laude in advertising at Texas Tech, I got married, gained 3 kids and decided to stay. Professionally, I got my first real estate license in Texas in 1979 and spent almost 20 years in real estate or affiliated fields.

Since 2001 I have listed or sold homes in most communities in Contra Costa County, staged my own listings & others and participated in regional marketing meetings. With my extensive career, I know what works and what doesn't.

Personally, I live with my husband Bill in Clayton where we love to hike; I also enjoy traveling, reading & singing in my church choir, and am very involved in my church, work out regularly. I enjoy the theatre, all types of music and socializing with friends or our three grown kids, when our calendars permit.
